Description

This collection brings together resources I’ve created over the years, including custom and mockup meshes, new textures, and a wide range of scripts for use in your own mods. Many of these have been released individually in the past; most are now included here, with optimisations and general improvements.

In addition, I’ve expanded the collection with new resources, including universal scripts that can be integrated into your own projects. These are designed to help your mods share functionality with mine, while also serving as practical examples to learn from.

Permissions

You’re free to use these assets in your own mods, provided I’m credited somewhere in the description. Feel free to take anything you need, modify it, improve it, reupload it, or use it however you like.

Usuage

There are two main ways to use this resource, depending on your needs, and, frankly, how much patience you have for setting up scripted elements.

Option A:

Take the meshes, textures, and scripts you need and include them directly in your own mod. You’ll create your own forms and point them to the relevant files. This is likely how most people will use this resource.

Option B:

If you plan to use scripted features, such as DFUtility for common functions like crafting items or want access to the drag-and-drop statues, wall mounts, and more, you’ll need to set this mod as a dependency for your own.

This resource may receive updates over time as I develop new content, particularly scripts. I’ll be using it across several of my own projects, so feel free to track it if you’re interested.

Documentation

To use my custom functions, check out my written guide below for my DFUtility script.

Donation Points

I won’t pretend to fully understand the inner workings of Donation Points or how they’re distributed. That said, I will not be enabling them for this resource. My concern is that mods using this as a dependency could drive downloads here and unintentionally rack up points for me, even though the majority of the work comes from the authors building on it.

For clarity, I do enable Donation Points on my standalone mods; the extra support goes a long way (fueling a steady supply of custard creams and Yorkshire Tea, and occasionally improving my setup). However, in this case, it doesn’t feel appropriate. In the interest of fairness, I’d rather leave them disabled.
